This cover is molded to the exact shape of your truck’s dashboard, and mounts right over the top to cover cracks and holes. The cover requires no special tools to install, and mounts using silicone adhesive (included). The workmanship of the cover is warranted for life against cracking, warping, etc. Dash Skins even work great with large pieces of dash missing, as long as there is enough dashboard left on all edges (perimeter) to serve as a stable and level foundation for the cover. Great part, and it’s “MADE IN USA” this dash cover fit my 1998 Chevy K1500 Silverado Z71 great, the color match was perfect, minus all the years the sun had faded all my interior. I followed the directions, watched a couple of YouTube tutorials on installing it, my dash on my pickup was destroyed by the heat, this part is so worth it…

Easy installLooks goodI did add extra glue to make sure it’s there for the Longhaul and I drilled the holes for the screws by the defrost.Very happy with the outcome. An extra set of hands was helpful when putting it in without getting glue everywhere.

This really is a great product. I’m impressed by its quality and fit. It fits my 99 suburban perfectly, sitting tight on the existing dash. The directions it comes with are very clear. They also have how-to videos on YouTube. Just follow along and it’ll work great. It looks pretty much brand new now and the noisy rattling from the busted old dash is gone. Mine was really badly cracked. Color match of the tan is perfect.
