This seems to be good for an older vehicle. It seems to have some abrasiveness but it must be very fine. Tried it on a well-cared for 14 year old car. Washed and then used Race Glaze. Although the car is clear coated, the white apply rag kept turning dark grey. The car isn’t a dark color. So what is it taking off? Stale clear coat, debris, pollution? It took out minor scratches and marks. Anyway, the result is a mirror-like finish. I then applied some very good wax over the race glaze. I wonder if using this regularly could eventually wear off the clear coat? I have a expensive newer car (2 years old) and don’t know if I should use it on it too? To sum it up, I have questions regarding what abrasiveness is in the product but I am ordering more.

I’m not a big fan of frequently waxing my vehicles, which is why in the past I’ve used a product in an orange container familiar to many. That product only needed to be applied once a year or so, which was right up my alley. But I was never really happy with the detrimental effect it would have on black plastic body trim parts. Those of you who’ve used that product or others like it will know what I mean.The Race Glaze product, in contrast, is safe for any automotive surface I’ve encountered so far. Black plastic trim? Rubber windshield surrounds? No problem at all. It buffs off just about as easily as it does off the painted surfaces (which is very easy by the way). No more white stains on trim that are nearly impossible to remove! In fact, I even used it on my vehicles’ glass (including side-windows, side-view mirrors and even the windshield) and it not only helps them to repel water and stay clean longer, it easily polishes off road grime and wiper marks as well as hard water spots.When I used it on my fire-engine red pickup truck it gave the paint such a luster and depth it was hard to believe that the vehicle wasn’t repainted. Beautiful!The only thing I don’t know about yet is the longevity. Manufacturer claims “up to 6 months”. If that holds true, I could definitely live with that!

I use this polish on several vehicles as it is easy to apply and remove leaving a long lasting finish.I have been using it for years. unfortunately this time, I had to pay a ridicules price to get it because I live in Canada.

I have been using Race Glaze for 20+ years and will never use anything else on my car. It’s so easy to apply and buffs off even easier. It takes out surface scratches with ease. For example, a limb from a pine-type bush broke off and fell on my wife’s car. Race Glaze removed the scratches and made the paint look like new.I saw another review with pictures of the paste clumpy. That can happen if the polish isn’t used for a while, but I’ve found that you just need to shake up the bottle really good and it will mix up to get back to the original paste consistency.
