I have a different version of this sun blocker, and I like this one a lot more. The biggest difference is that this has thin velcro attachment (instead of elastic with buckles that deform and rub the car).This also has a pull out shade extension on each side, making the placement more universal without need to flip over the attachment.As with all devices I have tried like this, they bounce and make view through a bit annoying, so they are really only for those semi-emergency times that you can’t avoid driving right into the setting or rising sun. The difference is big at those times though, and in my opinion, totally worth it.

I live in sunny Southern California and the sun coming through the front window is brutal at certain times of the day. This sun shield is the perfect solution to having to tilt my head in a weird way to avoid the glare of the sun (most especially early in the morning and later in the afternoon). I love the polarized visor extender that I can pull down when I need it and push back up when I don’t. The side extenders are great for when the sun is shining in that small area between the visor and the rear view mirror. It’s well made and appears sturdy and durable. I’m thinking about getting another one for the passenger side of the car, as well.
