This version is approved and passed by multiple tests to work on the V6 3.0L Mitsubishi Galant 2003 6g72 Engine model. I am satisfied that this item was able to sync to 2 different throttle bodys as well. Seller approved.

helped the car idle better

This IAC took us from a stuttering and stalling >200k convertible, to the smooth idling quick responding sports car it was when it was new.
Customer –
It didn’t produce enough of the power to keep my engine on after driving. It would randomly shut off when I stopped. It did, though, fit
Ivan –
This valve worked for about 30 min and then died. Swapped between 3 cars to confirm.

Never worked correctly, didn’t realize it was actually the part that had been causing me all these issues I’ve been chasing. Never imagine buying a brand new part that was supposed to fix an issue and up causing me tons more. I wish I could get back all the time and money I wasted because of this product.
Paul B –
As soon as it was installed, stalling problems went away. Has been running with no problems for over six months.

This IACV came for almost a tenth of the prize that was quoted to me for the OEM part for my Mitsubishi L400, 6G72 V6 gas engine. Even if it only will last a year, it would give me 9 to 10 years to break even, and it is hard to imagine that this van still has that much life in it in my ownership. Replacing the IACV doesn’t likely solve the problem why it gets dirty and clogs up in the first place, so no expectation there. But after replacement, the van has started a lot better than it did with the previous one, despite frequently cleaning the old one.

Bought this cause of the price what I did not expect was the cheap O ring supplied to seal the unit once you go to set the item vertical the O ring falls down after with out using some form of adhesive which I will not do I chose to buy the proper one with the seal mounted to the unit from Rock Auto and sending this one back
Nicole –
Fits just like an OEM AIC and works just as good as one too. Not a single issue has come up since this one has been installed on my Mitsubishi 02 Lancer OZ Rally. For the price the part is well worth it.
